Description: The Emperor of Darkness doesn't change too much from the Dark Lord. He gets stronger summons, a spell immune piercing ability and a few improvements to skills. My only real complaint is that he loses combat training. This seriously decreases both his dps and his tanking abilities. All you get in return is another aoe spell barely stronger than claws of darkness.

Claws of Darkness

Jumps in the air, causing initial damage to enemies nearby. Then blast away at the ground, causing claws of death to emerge.

FORMULA: (500 x ability level) +(2x strength)

MANA COSTS: Levels 1=10mp, 10=100mp, 20=350mp, 30=850mp, 40=1350mp, 50=1850mp, 60=2350mp, 70=2850mp, 80=3100mp

Review: Same as the Dark Lord BUG: As of 6.14a this ability doesn't use up mana at low levels and has no cooldown on initial levels. Spam away at will. However you still can't cast it if the cost is higher than your max mana.

Hellstorm

Summon forth Chaos and death upon an area as the claws of darkness spread from the ground with a whirlwind of fire.

FORMULA: (500 x ability level) +(3x strength)

MANA COSTS: Levels 1=20mp, 10=100mp, 20=500mp, 30=800mp, 40=1150mp, 50=1650mp, 60=2150mp, 70=2500mp, 80=2650mp, 90=2800mp, 100=3000mp

Review: A slighter stronger AOE spell than Claws of Darkness. It starts off costing more mana, but by level 30 it costs less. Probably recommend maxing this before claws. This doesn't make up for the loss of combat training at all. It was possibly the dark lord's best ability :(

Fatality

The hero transform into a legendary Titan, granting major health, defense, and damage bonuses as well as spell immunity.

FORMULA: Damage (500 x ability level), Armor (2 x ability level), Health (2000 x ability level)

MANA COSTS: levels 1=50mp, 10=750mp, 20=1600mp, 30=2600mp, 40=3600mp, 60=3600mp,

Review: Twice as strong as Titan form for the same mana cost. Undisputed improvement.

Death Spikes

Daemonic armor, spikes, and horns appear on the hero's body, creating a demon skinned surface that deals damage back to the attacker.

FORMULA: (100 x ability level) damage return vs melee units. (Max Level 100)

EMPEROR'S ABILITIES

Increases the power and skill of the emperor to strike fear in the hearts of his enemies. Become even closer with the darkness as your power becomes overwhelming.

LEVEL 1:

CAPTURE:

Throw a net on an enemy target causing massive amounts of strength damage. If the target is a hero it will be captured and sent far away to battle your creature. If the target is a peasant of the kingdom, they will be enslaved and sent to Darkhaven.

EMPEROR'S GUARD (level 1):

Summon unholy creatures from the underworld.

Summons: 2 Unholy Defenders

STATS: 37,036hp, 1000mp, 45 armor, 1151 dmg, 600 range. (Demon armor, Unholy Dmg). 

Abilities: Crit Strike 20% x 2, Slow, Banish, Evasion 30%

Duration: Permanent. Cooldown: 45 seconds. Mana Cost: 500mana

Review: These summons are MUCH stronger than the Dark Lords. Make good use of them.

LEVEL 3:

BATTLE FORMATION (level 2):

Fall into formation, increasing both the hero's and nearby units damage, defense and regeneration.

Damage Increased: 25%

Armor Increased: 50

Life Regen: 50/sec

Mana Regen: 20/sec

SELF INVISIBILITY (level 1):

Turn invisible for a duration of time, If you attack you become visible again.

Duration: 60 seconds. Cooldown: 60 seconds. Mana Cost: 250mana

Summon unholy creatures from the underworld.

Summons: 4 Unholy Defenders

STATS: 37,036hp, 1000mp, 45 armor, 1151 dmg, 600 range. (Demon armor, Unholy Dmg). 

Abilities: Crit Strike 20% x 2, Slow, Banish, Evasion 30%

Duration: Permanent. Cooldown: 45 seconds. Mana Cost: 150mana

Bug: this is probably supposed to cost 1500 mana.

MULTISHOT (level 1):

The Dark Lord's power grows even stronger, allowing him to attack multiple units at once.

PASSIVE: 3 Targets

Duration: Permanent. Cooldown: 45 seconds. Mana Cost: 2000mana

FEARLESS AURA (level 1):

This hero is fearless and inspires himself and others to do greater damage in battle.

DAMAGE BONUS: 10%

RANGE: 800

LEVEL 8:

DARK LIGHTNING:

Sends a dark wave of lightning into the enemies soul. This ability penetrates spell immunity and does maximum damage.

Formula: (Strength +Agility +Inteligence)

Cooldown: 20 seconds. Mana Cost: 1000mana

Review: Anything that penetrates spell immunity is always welcome, and you can set this to autocast. Would be nice if this was x3 strength damage instead though.

LEVEL 9:

BATTLE FORMATION (level 5):

Fall into formation, increasing both the hero's and nearby units damage, defense and regeneration.

Damage Increased: 40%

Armor Increased: 125

Life Regen: 125/sec

Mana Regen: 50/sec

THRONE OF DARKNESS:

Summon forth the hero's throne room from beneath the sands, dealing massive waves of destruction. The throne room continues to stay, slowing and corrupting all those around.

FORMULA: 5 waves of (3 x strength)

Corruption: -160 Armor

Slow: Unknown %

Duration: (throne room) 30 seconds. Cooldown: 100 seconds. Mana Cost: 4000mana

LEVEL 10:

EMPEROR'S GUARD (level 7):

Summon unholy creatures from the underworld.

Summons: 5 Chaotic Templars

STATS: 250,000hp, 3000mp, 250 armor, 6976 dmg, 600 range. (Demon armor, Unholy Dmg). 

Abilities: Crit Strike 20% x 2, Slow, Banish, Evasion 30%, Anti Magic Shield

Duration: Permanent. Cooldown: 45 seconds. Mana Cost: 4000mana

The Dark Lord's power grows even stronger, allowing him to attack multiple units at once.

This hero is fearless and inspires himself and others to do greater damage in battle.

The Emperor's house location is inside the Darkhaven Cavern to the northeast.

Turn Good

The Emperor needs to find and pick up Letter to the Dark Lord to turn good.

Turning back to evil requires him to talk to an acolyte east of the desert. (you cannot turn good a second time in the same game since the letter disappears when you turn good).
