Description:  The Pure Vampire is a great upgrade to the original. He has pretty much everything the Vampire did, with a few new additions. No reason to complain here.

IMPROVEMENTS:

  • Better Stats
  • Blood Gorging replaces the mediocre Wings of Terror ability
  • Gains a life steal Aura that stacks with his personal lifesteal
  • Gains summons that benefit from his lifesteal aura
  • Gains a more powerful windwalk ability

Losses:

  • Slow/Sleep (yep, that's it)

BLOOD GORGING

Tear apart your victims, spilling blood in every direction and causing more damage per attack.

  • FORMULA: (100 x ability level) +(Agility/4) damage per attack.
  • DURATION: 10 Seconds
  • COOLDOWN: 15 Seconds

Review: Much better than Wings of terror. Not only does this do agility damage but it applies the bonus to each attack. As an agility hero, we attack pretty quickly. This skill has no mana cost so try to keep it actice as much as possible. It does have a slight casting time though, so be careful of that.

Note: Ignore the tooltip, the duration (and the cooldown) stay the same regardless of ability level.

FEED

Use Vampiric speed to quickly feed off nearby units while using your hunting skill to replenish health.

  • FORMULA: (500 x ability level) +(2x agility)
  • VICTIM NUMBER: 1 + (Hunting Skill/10)
  • LIFE HEALED: 200 x Hunting Skill
  • MANA COSTS: Levels 1=20mp, 10=100mp, 20=200mp, 30=450mp, 40=700mp, 50=950mp, 60=1000mp, 100=1000mp

VAMPIRIC BLOOD

Increase the chance for the Vampire to evade an opponent and gives a 10% chance for a critical strike.

  • CRITICAL FORMULA: 10% chance for x1.5 + (.05 x ability level) damage.

SHADOW OF DARKNESS

The hero merges with the darkness, allowing it to appear out of thin air and strike at its target, causing major damage.

  • FORMULA: (1500 x ability level) + (2 x Agility) Hero Damage.
  • DURATION: 20 Seconds
  • MANA COSTS: levels 1=20mp, 10=200mp, 20=400mp, 30=600mp,40=960mp, 50=1450, 60=1950mp, 70=2450mp, 80=2950mp, 90=3450mp, 100=3900mp

Review:  Upgraded version of shadow of the night, this just does more damage.

Nearby owned units gain the power of the vampire, allowing them to steal life with each hit.

  • PASSIVE: 5% Lifesteal
  • AREA OF EFFECT: 600

Review: If Vampirism wasn't enough for you, now you can give lifesteal to your allies, AND it stacks with Vampirism. Giving you even more lifesteal :)

VAMPIRISM (level 2)

The Vampire must drink blood to survive. With each attack the hero drains the victims life and adds to his own

ANIMATE DEAD

Animates the bodies of the fallen to fight for a duration of time.

  • Animated Units: 5
  • Duration: 120 seconds. Cooldown: 240 seconds. Mana Cost: 2000mana

ECLIPSE

Unleash the horde of bats upon your enemies as they drain and destroy all in their path.

  • Damage per wave: (1x Agility)
  • Waves: 10
  • Stun Duration: 3 Seconds
  • Cooldown: 45 Seconds. Mana Cost: 2500mana

VAMPIRISM (level 3)

VAMPIRIC AURA (level 2)

  • PASSIVE: 7% Lifesteal

FOUNTAIN OF BLOOD

Conjures a fountain of blood from beneath the ground to heal nearby allies and kill those who oppose. The fountain grows stronger with the hero's level. Increasing it's damage.

  • Damage Formula per missile: 10 x Hero Level
  • Healing per second: 2000
  • Duration: 30 seconds. Cooldown: 100 seconds. Mana Cost: 2000mana

CLEAVE (level 1)

The hero hits with such force that their damage strikes through to nearby enemies

  • Cleave Damage: 10%

DARK FEAR (level 1)

Makes all units within the area fear for their lives, decreasing their attributes.

  • Damage Decreased: 20%
  • Armor Decreased: 25
  • Life Degen: 25/sec
  • Duration: 30 seconds. Cooldown: 80 seconds. Mana Cost: 1250mana

LEVEL 6:

VAMPIRIC AURA (level 3)

Nearby owned units gain the power of the vampire, allowing them to steal life with each hit.

  • PASSIVE: 10% Lifesteal
  • AREA OF EFFECT: 600

The hero hits with such force that their damage strikes through to nearby enemies

VAMPIRE BROOD (level 1)

Summon six Daemonic Vampires from beyond the grave. These powerful vampire beasts hunger for the blood of their victims.

  • Summons: 6 Daemonic Vampires
  • STATS: 100,000hp, 50 armor, 5501 dmg, melee range. (Hero armor, Holy Dmg).
  • Duration: Permanent. Cooldown: 45 seconds. Mana Cost: 2500mana

Review: Fills in one of the niches the unevolved vampire was missing. These will help you deal with groups of mobs by tanking for you, and they'll make great use of your lifesteal aura.

LEVEL 7:

VAMPIRIC AURA (level 4)

Nearby owned units gain the power of the vampire, allowing them to steal life with each hit.

  • PASSIVE: 12% Lifesteal
  • AREA OF EFFECT: 650

CLEAVE (level 3)

The hero hits with such force that their damage strikes through to nearby enemies

  • Cleave Damage: 20%

DARK FEAR (level 2)

Makes all units within the area fear for their lives, decreasing their attributes.

  • Damage Decreased: 40%
  • Armor Decreased: 35
  • Life Degen: 35/sec
  • Duration: 30 seconds. Cooldown: 80 seconds. Mana Cost: 1500mana

FLASH STRIKE (level 1)

Attacks all enemies so quickly it appears as if there are multiple heroes. Illusions and summon

  • Damage per unit: (3x Agility)
  • Area of Effect: 600
  • Cooldown: 20seconds. Mana Cost: 3000mana

BLOOD (level 1)

The blood of ancient vampires flows through this hero, causing them to have incredible life regeneration and speed.

  • PASSIVE: 1000Hp Regen, Max Athletics

VAMPIRISM (level 4)

The Vampire must drink blood to survive. With each attack the hero drains the victims life and adds to his own

  • PASSIVE: 12% Lifesteal

VAMPIRIC AURA (level 5)

Nearby owned units gain the power of the vampire, allowing them to steal life with each hit.

  • PASSIVE: 14% Lifesteal
  • AREA OF EFFECT: 700

CLEAVE (level 4)

The hero hits with such force that their damage strikes through to nearby enemies

  • Cleave Damage: 25%

BUG: As of 6.14a this does like 2500% cleave damage. Kills pretty much everything in 1 hit.

VAMPIRE BROOD (level 2)

Summon six Vampires with the taste of Pure's Blood, giving them enormous powers and vampiric abilities like no other vampire.

  • Summons: 6 Pure Bloods
  • STATS: 300,000hp, 100 armor, 7956 dmg, melee range. (Demon armor, Unholy Dmg).
  • ABILITIES: Evasion 15%, Vampiric Aura (level 1)
  • Duration: Permanent. Cooldown: 45 seconds. Mana Cost: 2500mana

Note: Your hero's Vampiric Aura will override this one if he's close enough. Otherwise they'll use their own weaker version.

ETERNAL NIGHT

Unleash the thousands of bats that swirl around the vampire, causing massive damage to all those within

  • Damage Per Wave: (2x Agility)
  • Waves: 7
  • Cooldown: 80 seconds Mana Cost: 4000mana

LEVEL 10:

VAMPIRIC AURA (level 6)

Nearby owned units gain the power of the vampire, allowing them to steal life with each hit.

  • PASSIVE: 16% Lifesteal
  • AREA OF EFFECT: 700

The hero hits with such force that their damage strikes through to nearby enemies

  • Cleave Damage: 30%

DARK FEAR (level 3)

Makes all units within the area fear for their lives, decreasing their attributes.

VAMPIRE BROOD (level 2)

Call upon six Vampires from the ancient times. Dark in nature, these vampires lust for the blood of their victims

  • Summons: 6 Ancient Vampires
  • STATS: 395,000hp, 1500 mana, 175 armor, 12461 dmg, melee range. (Demon armor, Unholy Dmg).
  • ABILITIES: Evasion 25%, 20% Crit x4, Sleep
  • Duration: Permanent. Cooldown: 30 seconds. Mana Cost: 3500mana

BLOOD (level 3)

The blood of ancient vampires flows through this hero, causing them to have incredible life regeneration and speed.

  • PASSIVE: 2000Hp Regen, Max Athletics

The Pure Vampire's House location is a desert temple northwest of the Thieves Guild.

Turn Good

The Pure Vampire needs to find the Strange Vial to turn good.

Turning back to evil requires him to talk to an acolyte east of the desert. (you cannot turn good a second time in the same game since the letter disappears when you turn good).
